MonthLedger is a local-first personal finance app built around month-end closing. It supports fast transaction entry, accounts and credit-card statement periods, budget carryover, month-end net worth, tag groups, multiple currencies, borrowing and lending, CSV import and export, and Home Screen widgets.

No. MonthLedger has no account system and no subscription.
Your ledger is stored locally on your device. MonthLedger shares the data required by its own widgets through an Apple App Group container. The developer cannot access your ledger data.
Use CSV import and export in MonthLedger Settings. You choose where exported files are saved and how they are shared.
No. After you enable multiple currencies, MonthLedger refreshes reference rates no more than once every 24 hours. You can also refresh them manually. Each request sends only your selected base-currency code to the ExchangeRate-API Open Access service. It does not include your target-currency list, transactions, balances, tags, notes, or other ledger data.
Online rates are updated daily and are used only for estimates. They may differ from bank, transaction, or settlement rates, and you can edit them manually in the app. Source: Rates By Exchange Rate API.
